At Great Plains Contracting, we are focused on enhancing the capabilities and communities of southern Saskatchewan. As a contracting company our goal is two-fold: to deliver superior projects on time and on budget, while supporting the communities in which we operate.
Building capacity is a major theme for our company and drives not only where we do business but how we do business. As a locally owned and operated company, we have a vested interest in the development of our region and work to ensure that projects will have long-term and mutually sustainable benefits to local communities and companies operating in the region.
One of Great Plains Contracting’s major strengths is to help our clients engage First Nations and Métis communities as well as to support First Nations and Métis communities to incorporate themselves as significant members on projects in their own back yards. This is accomplished through community involvement, development and investment. Great Plains Contracting achieves our goals for local project involvement through recruiting backed by our community owners, encouraging and supporting employee training and upgrading programs, and assisting local social projects and programs that enhance the communities in our region.
These initiatives have allowed Great Plains Contracting to set itself apart as a dynamic company with all the right ingredients for steady, locally supported growth that provides positive returns for both our clients and local shareholders. Our mandate and unique structure allows us to consider expansion into any area that requires access to integral and valuable human resources and to build projects that are mutually beneficial to First Nations and Métis communities and companies that operate in southern Saskatchewan.
